Frequently asked questions
I have specific food preferences (vegetarian/vegan) or allergies, can I still take the class?
Yes, if you are vegetarian or have food allergies we can adjust the menu accordingly, if you inform us 48 hours prior to the class. If you have a gluten free or vegan diet you may not be able to participate in some recipes of the menu.
I am a vegetarian/vegan, what else should I know about the class?
During the market tour we will pass by the meat & fish sectors. There are no alive animals of course -the look & feel is like being in a butcher shop or a fish market- but we totally respect if you would like to avoid the specific views. In this case you can skip the specific sectors of the tour.
Are the classes suitable for beginners?
No matter if you are a beginner or an experienced cook, the class is designed to offer the same unique experience to all participants!
What should I wear to the class? Do I need to bring any equipment?
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, if you inform us by email 48 hours ahead you can cancel or change the time of the booking and get a full refund. Each course requires a lot of preparation from our side, in terms of ingredients’ purchases, studio preparation and staff scheduling. So, no refunds will be given for not showing up or for canceling or change the time of the booking later than 48 hours before the class starting time.
How much food do I get to eat in each class?
Rest assured that you will enjoy a rich meal/dinner. The amount of food we cook is always more than enough for a group of hungry people! An important element of The Greek Cooking Lab experience is to sit comfortably around the table and savor the food you have crafted!
