We meet at our cooking studio and start our culinary journey with a walk in the Athens Central Market -6 min on foot from the studio- in order to buy some fresh ingredients for our cooking and get a first taste of Greek gastronomic traditions and habits. (Market tour is optional and is available only in Mon-Sat morning tours, when the Central Market is open)
We return to the studio and begin our hands-on cooking experience, creating a Greek traditional menu consisted of 5 courses:
Briam
Fresh seasonal vegetables, blended with olive oil, oregano & garlic, baked in the oven until crusty
Spinach pie
Fresh spinach, creamy feta cheese & herbs, wrapped in homemade phyllo (dough)
Tzatziki
The famous Greek appetizer: yoghurt, garlic, cucumber and herbs
Souvlaki
The unique Greek street food, in our homemade version, with pork meat or haloumi cheese (for vegetarians)
Milk pie
A delicious traditional dessert with fresh milk and alluring scents of cinnamon and butter
While cooking, we enjoy the lively rhythms of Greek music and a glass of excellent local wine. You then sit for a delightful private dinner featuring the courses you crafted, accompanied by selected Greek wines we will suggest to you!
The menu, the music and the drinks can all be adjusted according to your preferences!
